... Sorry for not writing sooner but been away. Many thanks for my copy of Instro Beat – It really was worth the wait and a great tribute to your determination to get this complex project completed – your determination is to be admired.
The tracks are brilliant and the superb accompanying artwork and detailed pages of information make fascinating reading. I’m encouraged to note that you want to put another album out – that would be great. There are still a number of tracks missing from my CD collection! ... Bob Gregory
... I wanted to let you know that I received the Instro Beat CD in the mail last week.
I want to give you some positive feedback for a really outstanding job on the CD. The booklet is first rate and very informative. The music sounds so clean and clear like you are standing in the studio. I am very happy that you took the effort to find the rare stereo versions (FBI) of the hits and also the previously unreleased songs (Caravan). All and all a very first rate job that shows your love for the groups and the music. I hope you will keep up the great work with further releases ... Bruce Lohr
... A big thank you for sending it, I enjoyed listening to it, 28 great
reasons for me to continue picking up my guitar. The CD not only
provided quality listening but also offered me some information about
the various artists in a beautifully presented booklet ... Chris Watts

Can't wait for volume 2! Any chance my fave Sounds Inc single without an official CD release (Time For you) might get an airing on future releases? ... Steve Davis
... A short note to say thanks for the CD. Yes, it was well worth waiting for and congratulations on a job well done.
I'm particularly impressed with The Fentones version of 'Caravan'. I recall seeing them at the ABC in Hull in
the early sixties backing Shane Fentone. Ah, what memories. Here's to Vol.2 ... Dave Shaw
... Hi Tony, Instro Beat just gets better each time its played. Can't wait for volume 2 ... Tony Allen
... What a gem. Firstly the informative booklet with a wealth of info including the last page with the tracks, takes, producers and publishers. All the stuff I relish. The tracks – Most of which I am hearing for the first time.
Never heard The Dakotas ‘The Millionaire’ before, only Los Jets version on their latest release.
To finish with the stereo F.B.I. was the icing on the cake. Well done Tony, the wait has been worth it.
Can hardly wait for the next one ... Kevin Wooten
... Well it arrived on Friday. I was tempted to go straight to track 28 but thought I would go through the lot in order. I am quite taken by quite a few of the tracks so far and I’m sure more will grow on me. I have to say the sound quality is absolutely superb and the booklet is excellent and informative. It is simply a high quality product that you have produced and I offer my congratulations for your efforts. I know from what you have told me that it has been a bit of a caper to get to this point, I hope that you feel it was worthwhile and you should be very proud of the final result. I know there were various comments about the delays from certain people, but for those who understood the problems it was worth the wait ... Andy Stace
... The reason for this contact has naturally been prompted by today's receipt of "Instro Beat". A superb job! Well done! It's a beauty - marvellous quality, so professionally produced; worth the wait. Despite having most of the tracks, it has not been out of the CD player all day today - much to Carmel's irritation! Why can't the girls get into rock 'n' roll instrumentals?!?
Anyway, thanks for all the love and effort you've put into it - I really appreciated it; a job well done!
When can we expect Volume 2.........?!? ... George Martin
... Just listened to Instro Beat - all tracks excellent and well worth the wait. The brochure is

Friends by The Shads reminds me of the first time I saw them live - in Aladdin.

... Received my Instrobeat CD, I am delighted with it and well worth the wait.
Sound quality is excellent and sleeve notes first class, and the highlight for me is the stereo F.B.I., the best I have heard it sound. Very much appreciated the time, effort, and hard work at producing this CD.
It goes without saying I'm looking fordward to Vol 2 ... Leslie Bertuccelli
... Received Instro Beat CD. Great one mate bring on no 2 and many more ... Peter Rogers

... Tony - received my CDs in the post this morning - just wanted to say 'thanks' and well done - a really professional product - very nicely packaged (with excellent sleeve notes) and terrific sound throughout.
I did recognise a few of the tracks - but really like the Judd Proctor one (Cavaquinho) and also the Fentones Caravan. Delighted that you managed to find the true stereo FBI after all this time - it really sounds terrific ... Bernie O' Hara
... Not all that long ago the prospects for unearthing The Shadows' classic FBI in true stereo from a high quality master looked distinctly bleak. But it's here at last as the closing track of a fascinating set. There are a further 27 tracks, judiciously chosen as one would expect from an acknowledged expert on the instrumental genre; four of them see their first release here. The booklet is a model of its kind, packing a phenomenal amount of detail into its 16 glossy and handsomely illustrated pages. It's good to hear that further collections are planned ... Malcolm Campbell
... Hi Tony
It's arrived and well worth the wait. It's a great compilation and the quality is excellent. I hadn't expected the informative booklet so that was a bonus.
Well done and lets hope you can produce some more in the future ... Robin Giles
... Just received my copy of "Instro Beat", so I sat down and relaxed and played it all the way through. FANTASTIC,GREAT, really enjoyed it. Makes you realize there were some damn good guitarists around in the 60's.
